Who am I

When you where young maybe around kindergarten age or preschool age. Do you remember the riddles they'd give you. The who am I riddles? I do I used to always guess but little did I realize I'd ask myself the question on who am I? Have you ever wanted to speak in public but never had the guts to do so? Yeah I feel you. I've had my times of giving a speech in bible study of usually my presentation of what I learned for that whole year. I never could stop saying um, but in that since I had the anxiety of speaking in public. I was introverted. Knowing now that I'm in my prime of life I know that I can speak in front of people. Just being that person in the back of the classroom and being called on by a teacher that you never know what they're about to ask you is a little hard. Some of my readers most likely are highschool age I'm guessing. (Comment if your a middle school kid)
Have you ever heard that song if I just lay here by burning orchid? It has the chorus that says if I lay here if I just ly here would you lie with me and just forget the world. Some of you might say what does this have to deal with who am I? Well idk.....
Everyone who at least meets a person now days labels others but doesn't dare label themselves. But that moment when you stand at your mirror everyday you think about what are the kids at school going to say about my face or my makeup or clothes. Image is everything now days.
Ask yourself who am I and once you get an answer it might surprise you. I prayed one day and I asked God who am I. I kept asking. Fianally God replied. He said.... You are unique and yourself but your my child.
After that moment I knew that I had to be myself.
Teens listen closely...
When your down and depressed. Look at yourself in the mirror and ask who am I?
If you attend a youth group on Wednesday ask your youth pastor to help you on your situation. It may shock you to ask for help.

Who am I?
